SMART 3G-D2
Gas detectors with display for zone 1 category 2

Designed to meet with tough industrial requirements, the SMART3G-D2 allow to monitor toxic, flammable and refrigerant gas contents in harsh environments and classified areas. They offer a 4-digit back-lit display for the gas concentration reading, 5 mode status LED and a high visibility multi-color LED light ring.

Ideal for all industrial environments, the SMART3G-D2 feature non-intrusive calibration for an accurate and easy adjustment via Hall-effect switches, without opening the instrument and declassifying the area.

They can reliably monitor flammable compounds (% LFL), toxic compounds in ppm, Oxygen and CO2 contents in % by Vol. They do also monitor refrigerant gases both in ppm and % LFL.

The detectors are rated to IP65.

SMART3G-C2-LD

Gas detectors for Zone 1 category 2

SMART3G-C2-LD is designed to meet the needs of industrial applications and assures a reliable monitoring of toxic, flammable and refrigerant gas contents in classified areas.

The multi-color LED light ring assures an immediate visual indication of the detector status.

Ideal in industrial environments, the SMART3G-C2-LD feature one man calibration via the STS/CKD+ calibration keypad.

The SMART3G-C2-LD detectors can reliably monitor flammable compounds (% LFL), toxic compounds and refrigerant gases in ppm, Oxygen and CO2 contents in % by vol.

MULTISCAN++ S1

MULTISCAN++S1 is an innovative gas control unit used for monitoring and controlling up to 256 gas detectors. Extremely flexible and highly reliable, it allows to monitor gas detectors connected with both 4-20 mA transmission and addressable loops.

MULTISCAN++S1 may be configured connecting different field modules to the RS485 loops in order to customize it to the various requests and needs of the field of application as per the table below.

  • SIL1 and ATEX according to EN60079-29-1.
  • Up to 4 open or 2 closed RS485 (EIA-485) galvanic isolated serial lines.

MULTISCAN 8+

MULTISCAN 8+ is an innovative gas control unit, ideal for small plants up to 16 detectors.

Extremely flexible it allows to monitor gas detectors connected with both 4-20 mA transmission and addressable bus.

Every input can be configured for a different kind of gas in order to detect both flammable and toxic compounds as well as Oxygen depletion and enrichment.

The backlit LCD display assures a precise indication of the gas concentration being measured and the alarm set points.

The MULTISCAN 8+ ABS cabinet can accommodate 2 x 12 VDC, 7Ah batteries to ensure its correct working when power supply fails.

The MULTISCAN 8+ is SIL1 approved and ATEX certified according to EN60079-29-1

PL4+

The PL4+ represents the most cost effective solution for the detection of flammable, toxic and Oxygen contents in small systems.

This panel provides 4 analog 4-20 mA inputs that can be upgraded to 8 by using a 4-input expansion module, easily connectable directly onto the unit.  The control panel comes complete with 5 relays, one for each threshold (AL1, AL2, AL3), 1 for fault (FLT) and 1 programmable.

The extension board ST.PL4/ESP offers 4 additional inputs and 16 electrical Open-Collector outputs.

The LCD display assures a precise indication of the gas concentration being measured and the alarm set points. Mode status LED’s provide a visual indication for alarm levels, fault and power-on. An internal buzzer is provided for an audible alarm with front panel reset facility.

The PL4+'s ABS cabinet is rated to IP65 and can accommodate a 12 VDC, 7Ah additional battery to ensure its correct working when power supply fails. The PL4+ is SIL1 and ATEX certified according to EN60079-29-1

PL4+D

PL4+D, for DIN-rail mounting, is an innovative gas control unit, ideal for small plants up to 12 detectors.

It allows to monitor 4 gas detectors connected directly to the control panel (4-20 mA) and additional 8 detectors via remote 8-input cards STG/IN8S. Every input can be configured for a different kind of gas in order to detect both flammable and toxic compounds, refrigerant gases as well as Oxygen depletion and enrichment.

The backlit LCD display assures a precise indication of the gas concentration being measured and the alarm set points.

The panel can manage up to 21 output relays, 5 aboard the panel and additional 16 via STG/OUT16S+STG/8REL.

The PL4+D is SIL1 and ATEX approved according to EN60079-29-1

SECURNET++ SUPERVISION SOFTWARE

Sensitron gas detection systems can be supervised and managed by our advanced software tools SECURNET++ and SCADA LITE. Alerts and/or malfunctions are highlighted on personalised graphic maps with the information received from the detectors. 

  • Management of the gas detection system connected directly or on a TCP/IP LAN using an optional module.
  • Display the status and concentration of gas sensors on hierarchically organised graphic maps.
  • Display the status of outputs (activations: sirens, electrovalves, etc.) on hierarchically organised graphic maps.
  • Display the concentration measured by the sensors in graphic form: numerical display, analogue bargraph and time-trend chart.

Gas detectors for Group I Mines and Tunnels

SMART3G-GrI gas detectors are employed to detect the presence of flammable and toxic gases in mines, tunnels and areas classified as Group I.

Also available with front display, SMART3GD-GrI offers a 4 digits back-lit display for the gas concentration reading, 5 mode status LED and a high visibility multi-colour LED light ring.

The version with display features non-intrusive magnetic calibration for an accurate and easy calibration via Hall-effect switches, without opening the instrument and declassifying the area.

GALILEO 8/32

GALILEO 8 and 32 are high-tech multifunctional control panels for gas detection, designed to control and monitor up to 8 4-20 mA detectors (GALILEO 8) and up to 32 detectors connected serially on a loop (GALILEO 32).

The GALILEO 8 and 32 control panels are designed to meet the SIL (Safety Integrity Level) requirements of the European EN50402 standard on Functional Safety.

The control panels are designed to be fully redundant and, when properly installed, fulfil the SIL3 functional safety requirements.

The event memory of the control panels records all alarms, faults and user operations. To ensure maximum operational safety, a hierarchical user password system has been implemented at three levels: OPERATOR, MAINTENANCE and TECHNICIAN.

GALILEO SMS

The GALILEO SMS (SIL Multisystem) control panel is a multifunctional control unit for gas detection, designed to meet the SIL (Safety Integrity Level) requirements established by the European EN50402 standard on Functional Safety.

The control unit is fully redundant and is designed with two powerful microprocessors that communicate detected data with each other, thus ensuring the availability of all functions, even if one of the two microprocessors fails.
