Conflict minerals
policy

On 17 May 2017, Regulation (EU) 2017/821 was published, setting out supply chain due diligence obligations for European Union importers of tin, tantalum, tungsten and minerals originating from conflict-affected and high-risk areas. The Regulation governs and prevents trading of conflict minerals (Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten and Gold), whose proceeds finance armed conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo and neighbouring states. It requires all companies that market products in Europe to report to their respective regulators on the use of minerals originating from the Democratic Republic of Congo or neighbouring states. Sensitron S.r.l. declares that the die-cast aluminium and the tin used in its electronic board soldering process do not come from the conflict areas. Our raw materials do not contain the other minerals (Tantalum, Tungsten and Gold). We are therefore able to guarantee compliance with Regulation (EU) 2017/821.
